Mikheyev Modern automation systems in industry and in research are widely used field line. In practice field line using two - three lower-level OSI model. Interfaces are widely used Modbus, Profibus DP, ARCNET, BitBus, WorldFip and others. Ideology of industrial lines rooted connected with RS-232 and RS-485 (ANSI EIA/TIA*-485-А, EIA/TIA-422). RS-interfaces involve open architecture, have the necessary level of noise immunity, technological, sell half-and full-duplex communication mode. RS-485 interface at the physical and data link layers used in industrial networks Modbus, Profibus DP, ARCNET, BitBus, WorldFip, LON, Interbus, in non-standard networks. The article considers the method of analysis of quality indicators and modeling of serial interfaces in MATLAB on the link layer OSI with the concept of partitioning the data into frames, communication, control, transmission, detection and correction of errors.
