Estimation of the Effectiveness of Different Ways of SWF Criterion Application for Determining Structural Integrity of Coal-plastic Elements
with Reverberation-through Technique |

The report is about non-destructive acousto-ultrasonic technique application. Description of equipment, informative parameter (SWF criterion), and methods of it calculating is given. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are shown. SWF criterion values for CFRP specimens with a variety of strength characteristics have been calculated. Statistics approach was used for estimation of application efficiency of SWF criterion calculation methods both currently used and suggested by FSUE “VIAM”. The method suggested by FSUE “VIAM” was proved to be efficient and its informative parameter determined by nondestructive technique demonstrated better correlation with strength characteristics of the specimens under study.
