In the work at a structural and functional level present a method of constructing experiments automation systems of research electrophysical devices (REPhD). To implement data channels in the system uses hardware and software of the Ethernet network. The effectiveness of the method in total and minimization transmission delays of service and informational traffic is due to the ability to dynamically change the logical structure of the data network depending on REPhD’s work mode and combining the necessary set of system elements into separate virtual subnets.
Opportunities for building REPhD’s high-speed measuring and control systems, based on Ethernet network and providing data transfer in real time, appeared due the production and release of modern intelligent layer 2 and layer 3 Ethernet switches and expanding their functionality.
Presented in work method allows to scale experiments automation system with no changes of software and provides an effective rate of acquisition and transmission the experimental data up to 85 Mbit/s in the calculation on one channel.
