The paper provided an overview of the network synchronization. It has been shown that the characteristics of the synchronization have a significant impact on the provision of services for the transmission of digital data transmission services coded messages and the development of new technologies such as SDH and SONET. It was noted that currently in the development stage specification ETSI, to make demands for jitter and wander in synchronization networks suitable for SDH and PDH. Produced block diagram of the development frame sync generator based receiver.
