As the main product of the stochastic characteristics of crushing was justified selected its coarseness. Proposed optimal control problem crushing process of raw materials considered as a problem of sequential decision-making. It is shown that the process of finding optimal control is approximated by a Markov random process with discrete states and continuous time.
