Gas Chemical Nanosensors Based on Zinc Oxide. Part 1 |

One of perspective directions of development of the automated control systems is use in their structure of nanosensors. In the review
results of development of gas chemical nanosensors with sensing elements based on zinc oxide are submitted. According to features of
construction of sensing elements the named devices are divided into three groups. Group 1 is nanosensors sensing elements of which have
a covering only from zinc oxide. Group 2 is devices with the sensing elements containing a covering from zinc oxide and an external layer
of other material. Group 3 is nanosensors sensing elements of which have a covering from a composite based on zinc oxide. The review
consists of four parts. In the fi rst and second parts constructional features and analytical abilities of nanosensors of group 1 are shown.
The third part of the review is devoted to consideration of constructional features and analytical abilities of the devices concerning to group 2. In the fourth part constructional features and analytical abilities of nanosensors of group 3 are considered. At the end of the review the general characteristic of the listed groups of devices is given, and areas of their potential application are specifi ed.
