Dvilyansky In this paper we propose an mobile device states model, taking into account the probability of fi nding the device in rooms with different security requirements. The mobile devices features affecting information security are described. The paper contains the formal statement of the model development problem. The software and hardware platform composition and structure characteristics of modern mobile devices are described in details. The analysis of modern technologies determining the mobile devices indoors location is presented. The authors propose an approach that allows to increase mobile device location accuracy in specialized areas with different security requirements. This approach is based on Monte Carlo method and worst case criterion. The developed model quality is investigated. The paper contains also effective analysis of proposed approach for mobile device indoor location in comparison with known technologies.
