Chuvikov In this article the research of IBM Bluemix platform was conducted. Also the hardware of cognitive system and the main opportunities of IBM Watson was considered. The review of companies which are engaged problems of an artifi cial intelligence in Russia was conducted. The perspective of use of cognitive technologies was analyzed. The short review of the platform IBM Bluemix was conducted. On the basis platform IBM Bluemix using Node-RED and libraries AlchemyAPI conducted an experiment on creating web applications for the recognition and analysis of human faces. It should be noted that the study was conducted on the updated interface of IBM Bluemix.
