Shakhov The results of the justifi cation of the instrumental calculation method for estimating information losses in receiving devices of digital data channels of automated control systems based on procedures for measuring the probability distribution density of the instantaneous values of useful signals and interference at the receiver input are presented. Probabilistic criteria of information losses are justifi ed and procedures for their quantitative evaluation at the input and output of the receiving device using modern measuring equipment are proposed. The application of such a methodological approach with real (including multimodal) signal distribution and interference laws increases the reliability of the interference immunity evaluation of the receiving device. The use of the instrumental calculation method for estimating the relative information losses caused by the impact of radio interference on digital channels of the automated control system with the help of modern digital measuring technology at the input and output of digital radio receivers signifi cantly improves the adequacy of modern models for assessing the effect of the type and interference parameters on the reception quality or electronic suppression of digital data channels ACS.
