Algorithm of the Detection of the Below Flight Vehicle on the Image for the Automated Flight Control System |

The paper justifi es the need to use an automated fl ight control system for an unmanned aerial vehicle that lands on an aerodrome, allowing real-time visibility. A brief concept of developing a system including hardware and software is presented. An algorithm for automatic tracking of an unmanned aerial vehicle in the approach process by digital processing of a sequence of images using correlation fi ltration is given. A correlation fi ltering method based on minimizing the output sum of a quadratic error, producing stable correlation fi lters using a single template, is considered. The results of correlation filtration for a sequence of images are shown when an unmanned aerial vehicle is landed by air to an aerodrome.
