Algorithm of Placement of Information Transmission Channels in the Digital Streams with Dynamic Multiplexing |

As a result of the widespread adoption of information technologies, the problems of rational use of data transmission channels are gaining special attention, especially when the resource used is expensive and limited, such as in the case of satellite communication systems. One way to solve such problems is to implement systems with dynamic multiplexing. In this article, we consider the problem and develop an algorithm for allocating new channels in systems with dynamic multiplexing based on the representation for them of such free time intervals of the multiplexed digital stream, the positions of which within the multiplexed digital stream are described by the coeffi cients of the arithmetic progression. The use of this algorithm in the formation of a control channel in systems with dynamic multiplexing leads to a reduction in the amount of transmitted overhead information describing the placement of a new channel in the structure of the multiplexed digital stream and, as a consequence, to an increase in the number of timeslots of potentially useful information.
