Zhuravlev The article presents the justification of the necessity consideration additional absorption of radiowaves when they pass through the polar zone and an example of calculation is shown single-jump high-latitude communication line taking into account additional absorption. Reduced feature of the passage of radio waves across the polar zone and the necessity of taking into account in the calculations effective value of the signal field strength additional anomalous absorption.
