Vershinin The article presents example of solving the problem of internal and external design of information security systems using a mathematical model associated with the extreme value search method. The necessary and sufficient conditions for determining the optimal solution of this problem are determined. An objective method of transition from a vector quality index to a scalar one, in which a unique solution of this problem is possible, is presented.
