Probabilistic Models of the Completeness Indicator of Information Security in Applications of Information Security Theory |

The possibility of the probabilistic presentation of basic indicators of the effectiveness of information protection is justified – the timeliness and completeness of the implementation of protection functions. The similarity of the presentation of these indicators and probability distribution functions is illustrated. A methodological approach to the formation of an analytical expression for the quantitative assessment of the completeness of information security is considered. The probabilistic format of this indicator is substantiated. Variants of presenting this expression as an analytical model in a number of applications of information security theory are presented – an analytical model of the completene of implementing procedures for comprehensive technical control of information security from leakage through technical channels, as well as an analytical model of the completeness of implementing resident-type anti-virus protection procedures.
