Surkova The article discusses the main qualitative characteristics of big data, such as large volume, complexity, time constraints, as well as techniques and methods for working with big data. It also analyzes the features of big data technology and the problems that arise when working with them: storing large volumes of unstructured data, transforming data to manage data warehouses, developing semantic analyzers (SA), and increasing computing power. The reasons for the periodic occurrence of problems using the Big Data technology are analyzed. Issues of the prospective use of big data technology are considered.
