A Mathematical Model of the Completeness of the Implementation of Information Protection Functions as a Tool for the Scientific Justification of Measures to Ensure its Security |

The article outlines a methodological approach to using an adequate model for the completeness of the implementation of information protection functions to justify areas for improving security mechanisms. The amount of information obtained as a result of the function of analyzing identifiable signs of a threat to information security and the potential amount of information about this threat is substantiated as a basis for determining the completeness of the implementation of information protection functions. The possibility of measuring the amount of information in terms of a structural metric is considered. The general view of the mathematical model of this characteristic is given. The possibility of using this model as a tool for the scientific justification of information security measures is considered by the example of substantiating the directions for improving comprehensive technical control measures for information security of information objects from leakage through the channels of side electromagnetic radiation and interference. The results of the corresponding computational experiment are presented.
