Programmable Self-diagnosed Logic Controller to Execute Responsible Functions |

The technical possibility of creating a three-channel self-diagnostic redundant logic controller with hybrid or «cold» redundancy on a modern domestic elementary base, having high reliability, high fault tolerance and radiation resistance, is shown. In self-diagnosing controllers, the failure of an operating channel is determined as a result of self-diagnostics, which is performed by the processor of the active channel periodically at fi xed time intervals together with the execution of the standard algorithm. After the next self-diagnosis, the value of the readiness coefficient of the self-diagnosis block, which is the main part of the channel, approaches one. Perhaps this is one of the main advantages of self-diagnosing computing systems.
