Level Organization of Automated Control Systems by Bioreactors |

The solution of problems of optimal control of biorectors in ACS according to the criteria of minimum resource costs or maximum rate of increase in product mass is provided by software modules of the upper control level and is based on kinetic dependencies. The rate constant of the reaction and the rate of cell growth, accumulation of metabolic products, and transport of nutrients are considered as state variables of the kinetic equations. At the top level of bioreactor control, the state coordinates are the product mass gain, temperature gradient in the tank, processing degree and raw material consumption. Physicochemical factors are considered as state variables of the lower level. It is proposed to evaluate the inclusion of the operator in the control loop by the ACS property «ease of operation», which is disclosed through a set of quantitative indicators. It is noted that PLCs functioning as bioreactors as part of an automated control system can be both specialized and general industrial. The PLC functions include the control of the lower-level state variables, signaling of deviations, indication, archiving and data transmission. It is determined that the balance of functioning of the bioreactor modules is achieved due to the subsystems for stabilizing the temperature values in the apparatus, the speed of mixing the substrate, the degree of processing of raw materials at the lower control level. The calculation of the settings for the stabilization subsystems is carried out at the upper level.
