Build of a Mathematical Model of Pressure in the Working Area of a Multi-Zone Furnace |

For metallurgical production a continuous multi-zone furnace is an extremely energy-intensive technological object. For it the processes of increasing energy efficiency are relevant, withal a multi-zone furnace is a very non-stationary object and which greatly interferes with the construction of both energy-efficient and optimal control systems. Most of relevant works in this field are related to the control of thermal conditions of the furnace, namely the gas flow rate, while neglecting such an important parameter as the internal furnace pressure. The pressure in the working area of the furnace is an important technological parameter when building energy-efficiency control systems. This paper considers the process of build a mathematical model to describe the pressure change in the working area of a multi-zone heating furnace. Two different approaches to the build of models are given: the fi rst one based on the classical equitation of gas state and second one based on regression equations obtained by analyzing technological data. The main disadvantages and advantages of the that models are derived and substantiated.
