Model of Transformation and Optimization of a Video Stream as a Component of a Complex Security System |

In connection with the intensive use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the scheme of an integrated security system, the issue of organizing the receipt of a video stream while maintaining acceptable quality is especially relevant despite the presence of natural and artificial interference that occurs in the information transmission channel between an unmanned aerial vehicle and a ground control point. Due to the fact that unmanned aerial vehicles have been actively used relatively recently, the methods of packaging and compressing video data have been “inherited” from aviation, television and the Internet. They have a number of disadvantages associated with weak compression, high visibility, and insufficient resistance to data loss. The paper presents the results of a system analysis of some modern developments, their critical assessment is given. The author proposes a new method for packing and compressing a video stream by describing it with polynomial splines. A mathematical model of data processing is presented, the configuration of the model is substantiated. When using the proposed method, it becomes possible to exclude compressors and transfer their images instead of packed data. The use of splines in solving the approximation problem reduces the processing time. In case of errors or loss of a number of coefficients, it becomes possible to restore the spline and data.
