Spiridonov The paper presents E3.series CAD system developed by CIM-Team GmbH for unified process controls design and meeting all designers’ requirements during the whole project development cycle from automation schemes development up to the issues of the complete set of project documentation. The experience of E3.series implementation by POINT Company both in design offices and customer’s circuitry and engineering departments. The suite is integrated both upward to workflow systems and downward to control automation. An of-the-shelf solution to meet user’s requirements is offered, an implementation plan for custom tasks accomplishment and appropriate system adaptation is developed. The usage of carefully selected and tuned combination of E3.series software modules enables the savings of 70 % design time 95 % changes time as against conventional design techniques.
