Application of EN25Q128 Flash Memory
in a Microcontroller Seismic Recording System |

The article discusses the option of modifying the microcontroller seismic recording system "Register", developed in the
seismometry laboratory of the Institute of Geophysics, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The modifi cation
consists of a signifi cant expansion of fl ash memory capacity in order to increase the duration of continuous recording of
seismic data in the mode of autonomous fi eld seismic research. The use of a new fl ash memory chip as part of the “Register”
recorder practically comes down to changes and additions to the device software and only to a small extent concerns changes
in the topology of the control and processing printed circuit board.
