Adaptive Control of the Effi ciency of the Upper
Part of the Distillation Unit |

A method of adaptive control of the effi ciency of the functioning of the top of the distillation unit is proposed. To implement
the adaptive control method, the following are proposed: an algorithm for determining the drift rate of the control criterion;
an algorithm for visualizing the effi ciency of the upper part of the distillation unit; an algorithm for visualizing the effi ciency
of the upper part of the distillation unit. Modeling of control processes, measurement processes and processes of formation
of control actions has shown the operability and effectiveness of all proposed algorithms. The relative error of modeling the
control process, according to the proposed method, is less 2·10–2 %. Modeling of the processes of formation of the relative
methodological dynamic error of measuring information processing shows that the main tuning coeffi cients of the monitoring
systems software should be considered the interval of the current identifi cation of the mathematical model, since it connects
the measurement time of a physical quantity, as the tuning coeffi cient of the analog input module, with the polling period
of sensors, as the tuning coeffi cient of the analog output module. It is these tuning coeffi cients that determine the lengths of
arrays, both for the operation of pre-fi ltering, linearization and visualization algorithms, and for optimization algorithms,
and, ultimately, for algorithms for evaluating the metrological characteristics of monitoring systems.
