Program Testing and a Mathematical Model
for Finding Errors in a Software Package |

The article studies the problem of testing programs (software systems). The tasks, goals, types and features of testing are
considered. Under the conditions of hypotheses regarding the distribution of errors and time to failure, a mathematical model
for searching for errors in a software complex with a given initial number of errors was built. Methods of probability theory,
testing and econometrics were used.
