Adaptive Management of the Effi ciency
of the Cubic Part of the Distillation Unit |

A device for adaptive control of the effi ciency of the rectifi cation column cube is proposed. The device is based on an
algorithm for determining the drift rate of concentration in a column cube. The numerical value of the concentration drift rate
is determined by fl uctuations in direct measurements of concentration in the column cube and fl uctuations in direct measurements of coolant fl ow into the boiler of the column cube. The use, as a control criterion, of the readings of a secondary device
of an industrial chromatograph ensures the stationarity and ergodicity of the digital sequence of the concentration of the target product in the column cube. A criterion for the effi ciency of the rectifi cation plant cube is proposed, which is proposed to
be estimated as the ratio of the current value of the column cube productivity measured in the fl ow of selected cubic residues to
the current value of the column cube productivity predicted by the reference model of the column cube. A mnemonic diagram
of the interaction of an industrial logic controller with an algorithm for visualizing the effi ciency of the column cube and an
algorithm for identifying the position of the working point based on the control criteria is proposed. The effi ciency and operability of the algorithms were tested by the method of simulation modeling in conditions closest to real ones.
