The article examines the impact of restrictions introduced on the fuel and energy complex of Russia. The impact of sanctions on electricity consumption by end consumers is considered. On the basis of retrospective data on electricity consumption, climatic factors and the dollar exchange rate, a forecast for 2023 was made and the relative deviation of forecast values from actual values was calculated. The conclusion about the infl uence of external economic factors on electricity consumption by household consumers was made. In order to assess the infl uence of meteorological factors and currency exchange rate and the possibility of their further application in forecasting, a correlation analysis was carried out.
