Forecasting the Capacity of a Complex
Technical System of an Infocommunication Network |

The structure and properties of control objects can be described based on the principles of the theory of associative environments
as applied to distributed structures. The paper deals with the issues of forecasting the capacity of the transport environment of an
infocommunication network. In the proposed analysis model, sources (packets from equipment of the previous network level are a source
for equipment of the subsequent network level) send message packets to their destination from one level to another level of the hierarchy.
The problem of determining the number of sources that can transmit data without overloading the next level of the infocommunication
network hierarchy is posed and solved.
