The paper shows that if the control programs executed by a multi-channel calculator’s channels include integral variables specifying the values of control signals and dependent on the input data, then the matching of their values across the channels is a necessary condition of the control system’s fault-tolerant operation. Data matching across the calculator’s channels requires the interchannel data exchange. The interchannel exchange process in asynchronous multi-channel calculators is analyzed, the evaluation relationship between the integral variable’s value and its matching period is derived and compared with the experimental one.
