SVEIDA Computer technologies made dramatic changes in our life. This especially concerns industrial processes which can be now hardly imagined without computers. The science often calls this “the third industrial revolution”. Computers have firmly settled in industrial painting recently dominated by manual operations and experiment-oriented production. Thanks to computers, industrial processes became more efficient and ecological. The most recent developments in computing technology and control science indicate that the efficiency improvement potential is far from being exhausted. However, this does not mean that with increasing efficiency the complexity of controls should also increase – quite the contrary!
