Reconfiguration-based Structural Solution for Embedded
Self-testing of Analog and Hybrid IC |

The structural solution of built-in self-test of analog and mixed-signal IP using the reconfiguring of original circuit in oscillator have been represented. The testing based on reconfiguration could be realized in off-line only because requires transformation of original circuit into an oscillator. The oscillation frequency of reconfigured circuit is a controlled parameter. The main attention is paid to realization of the circuit for measurement and estimation an oscillation frequency for circuit under test. In order to take into account the tolerances of circuit internal components the Monte-Carlo method is proposed for simulation and estimation the limits of the confidence interval for oscillation frequency. The principles of functioning and main components of proposed solution have been considered. The results of experimental investigation for active filter have been given. The fault simulation has shown what proposed solution for the active filter provides 100 % coverage of catastrophic faults and 78,6 % of parametrical faults under consideration the frequencies of confidence interval with reliability γ = 0,9.
