Radiostatistical Method of Substance Quality Testing:
Mathematical Model for Calculating the Energy
and the Output Signal of the Radiation Receiver |

The paper presents radiostatistical method of substance quality testing; its general description is given. The mathematical model of the interaction of electromagnetic field with substance in the framework of statistical physics, widely used in the study of randomly inhomogeneous medium is presented. The task of finding the parameters of the output electrical of the radiation receiver is stated. Electromagnetic waves are transmitted through a substance being controlled and fall on the receiver, which transform the Electromagnetic radiation into a stochastic electrical signal.
Equations are derived for the calculation of electromagnetic energy absorbed by the radiation receiver, and the output signal of the receiver. According to the obtained analytical expressions calculation of energy and the output signal of the receiver is carried out for specific environments. The results are presented as graphs.
As a result, elements of the radiostatistical method theory are developed, which allows calculating energy of the electromagnetic field in each medium and the output signal of the radiation receiver with cylindrical and conical polar patterns. The obtained dependences are consistent with the known results of the electromagnetic field studies.
Based on the obtained results recommendations are given on the selecting of parameters of converter, which converts the electromagnetic field into an electrical signal.
