The features of the formation of television (TV) images and their influence on the spatial resolution of the observed objects distinguishable. The basic relationships that define and capture resolution space observations, the distance to the object of observation and its linear size when TV camera looks at the nadir. Assesses opportunities TV method in monitoring objects on the earth surface. It is shown that the spatial resolution TV cameras aircraft (LA), defined by the relationship between the height of the flight, the number of items (rows) and the linear size of the objects for the adopted value of the focal length of the lens. Given expression, where the spatial resolution of the TV cameras is presented in the form of some different sizes of objects related to the number of items (rows) in the TV image. Selecting a larger spatial resolution TV cameras at the LA area is a determining factor in increasing the efficiency of their operation to meet the challenges of monitoring and spectral selection of objects on the earth surface. At given altitudes LA, use TV transmitters with higher spatial resolution will determine the effectiveness of TV methods and systems for visual observation, discrimination and identification of objects multicomponent image the Earth’s surface.
