Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back The «Trusted Personal Account» Concept for Information Security in Cloud Storages S.V. Zapechnikov, A.B. Los, A.V. Sorokin The questions of information security of the data stored in cloud storages are discussed in the article. An analysis of information security problems arising when using such storages is carried out. It is noted in the article that one of the major risks encountered in data storage is the possibility of physical access to the hardware store by its owner, who is not considered as the trusted person by the user whose information is to be stored. To ensure information security under such conditions the concept of the «Trusted Personal Account». The practical implementation of this concept, when stored information is not publicly available, ensures its confi dentiality. Two options for implementing the offered concept are offered of consideration. In the article. The descriptions of the security features are given for each option. The review of existing embodiments of these functions in the form of algorithms and protocols, as well as an analysis of possible options are made. The conclusion is made about the relevance of this approach to the security of information storage in the cloud and the possibility of its practical application.
