Zero-g Imitation Methods and Distinctive Features of the Realiability Development Tests for the Automatic Spacecrafts Large-sized Foldable Structures |

This article provides a brief overview of the zero-g simulation methods, issues and distinctive features of the reliability development tests for automatic spacecrafts large-sized foldable structures (ASCs). The article describes the main designated zero-gravity simulation test benches ensuring the compensation of gravity having impact on functional units of a certain mechanical system as well as monitoring systems of the structures geometry during any ground experimental tests phase in the Industrial Center of Large-Sized Foldable Mechanical Structures. The ground experimental facilities of the Industrial Center enable it to perform the entire cycle of ground testing on the ASCs different structures.
