Domestic Automated Systems of Measuring Absolute Vibration of Turbine Units of Thermal Power Plants
P.M. Gofman, V.V. Kolesnik, I.V. Kovalev, V. A. Drachev, K.K. Pershakova

This article analyzes domestic automated control systems for absolute vibration of the bearing support (so-called fi xed parts) of the turbines at thermal power stations of medium and high capacity, which perform measurements with piezoelectric sensors – accelerometers in terms of the requirements of various regulatory documents: state standards, guidelines, company standards, etc. The market of domestic developers and manufacturers of the absolute vibration control systems and systems of vibration diagnostics was studied for such facilities. The article analyzes only domestic systems of vibration control and vibration diagnostics included in the register of approved measuring instruments in the Russian Technical Regulation as at the end of the fi rst half of 2016. The technical characteristics of the absolute vibration control systems and systems of vibration diagnostics produced by domestic developers and manufacturers were studied by comparative analysis. The article described the possibilities of using the absolute vibration control systems under consideration in the emergency protection system in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documents in various supervisory agencies. The article will be useful for customers and designers of full-featured integrated automation systems at thermal power plants (TPP) of medium and high capacity, as well as for operational staff. In the article, we do not consider the equipment of the systems, which performs measurement of the relative vibration of the turbine shaft rotating parts by means of eddy current sensors.
Keywords: vibration; vibration monitoring; measurements; turbine unit; regulatory documents.
