Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Research of Methods of Forecasting on the Example of Analysis Development of Computer Equipment A.Yu. Ermakova The article continues the research of methods of forecasting of various indicators, including economic, such as oil prices, exchange rates, precious metals have begun earlier works [1, 2]. The urgency of this problem and a brief analysis of the known solutions. It is noted that most of the proposed solutions allows us to construct a relatively accurate forecast only for small time intervals. In an alternative solution the article proposes a method for constructing a predictive model involving the search for known values of indices approximating function based on the method of least squares. To implement this method developed the appropriate software, allowing to build the specifi ed approximating functions and their graphs the values of the predicted characteristics for the previous time intervals. This software allows you to build approximating functions, both in manual and in automatic mode. The possibility of using this method is shown on example of building predictive models of the dynamics of changes in the basic parameters of the computing performance and memory capacity. The task of developing a reliable and easy to use forecasting techniques is highly relevant for many areas of science and technology, in particular, for solving problems of information protection, since the quality of the remedies largely depend on the capabilities of computers.
