Eliseev The article proposes a mathematical model of the process of information processing and protection in automated control systems for critical objects that takes into account the mutual infl uence of software components under the impact of information security threats. On the basis of a quantitative approach to the development of the typology of the mutual influence of software components in automated control systems for critical objects, two options for implementing this approach are considered: functional and resource. It is assumed that the automated control system, on the one hand, is the object of external infl uence from malicious users who introduce various malicious programs into its software environment, and on the other hand, various confl icts arise in it, due to limited computing and other resources. The article outlines approaches for developing and researching a model for assessing the highly reliable functioning of software components due to their mutual infl uence in the automated control system for critical objects under the impact of external and internal threats to information security. In addition, the issues of the infl uence of the information protection system on the distraction of the computing resource of the system under the conditions of mutual influence of software components are investigated.
