Criteria Modeling in Qualifi cation

Criteria model of friction wear was developed for pump plunger basing on anti-wear fuel properties. It’s intended for
friction wear forecasting at defi nite conditions. Optimal parameterization was based on wear criterion invariance. Relation
between criterion and its mean value with minimal variation was interpreted as compatibility equation for criterion and its
parameters including wear duration. It allows using this equation for wear forecasting at some conditions and for different
exploitation periods. To get guaranteed forecast it was proposed to perform model parameterization at extreme wear
conditions which were chosen using step-by-step approximation on the base of factor experiment planning. Such model can
be used for guaranteed forecasting and hence for qualifi cation standards getting.
