Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Precast Concrete Plant Automated Process Control System A.V. Ostroukh, A.M. Kolbаsin An approach to the design of an Automated Process Control System (APCS) for the production of precast concrete is proposed. The system is developed on the concept of SMART Factory and includes a set of technological equipment, information, and software, integrated into a single industrial network, to control the objects of the production line for the production of ready-mixed concrete. The proposed system is scalable and includes various local Automated Control Systems for the preparation of concrete mixes, access control subsystem, managerial personnel workstations. In accordance with the proposed concept, an optimal level of automation of information collection and processing is provided to generate control signals and transfer them without loss and distortion to the executive mechanisms in order to achieve effi cient operation of the precast concrete production.
