Application of Tensor Analysis to Conceptual Database Design |

Various approaches to building a database consisting of information systems had been discussed, as well as infological and datalogical, graph-theoretical, theoretical-multiple levels of data models, organization of semantic network structure. The advantages of tensor approach to database design had been discussed. The foundation of the concept proposed by the authors is the fact that each object, relation or laws of software functioning is associated with tensor, built in a certain way, and to manipulate the tensors used the extended operation of the tensor algebra. Information modeling software using databases is based on building multi-level tensor description of software, which in a certain way is transformed when we move from level to level. In doing so, to build each level descriptions used appropriate language based on tensor calculus.
