Zhuravlev The article presents analysis of the anomalous state of the atmosphere in the implementation of a stable connection. An example of assessing the quality of communication in anomalous cases of atmospheric refraction is given. Considered manifestation subrefraction very dangerous to navigation. It is established that a prerequisite for the occurrence of anomalous cases of atmospheric refraction is quiet weather. Conversely, wind mixing air masses and averaging its characteristics, contributes to the creation of conditions for normal atmospheric refraction.
