The Concept of Security of the Internet of Things Ecosystem Based on Software-defined Networks |

The paper considers the problems of ensuring information security of software-defined networks. Virtualization of networks and network functions is a paradigm in which the user controls the distribution of resources at the virtual level through the control plane – interacting with software, defining network paths and actively setting up network services. With the expansion of the scope of devices and sensors equipped with technologies for interacting with each other or with the external environment, the issues of ensuring their safety and confidentiality arise. IoT provides virtual presence to any number of physical objects. Such a network and its component devices represent an extremely large attack surface. Analyzed security threats SDN-IoT architecture based on the STRIDE model. Shown that to build a security system, when deploying a controller and virtualizing network functions, it is necessary to apply the same precise process as in the development of modern operating systems.
