Prokhorov The article deals with the fire danger of metropolitan transport tunnels, cable lines, attachment points of the contact rail, and also the storerooms of the railway service. In addition, there is an extensive statistics of fires in transport tunnels, which allows us to draw a number of conclusions and form the prerequisites for choosing the type of fire automatics for linear metro facilities. As a measure to prevent accidents, it is proposed to organize a pre-fire visual inspection, which requires the development of special Regulations for operational actions of the dispatching apparatus, Situation Center and employees of relevant metro services based on the results of visual monitoring of the temperature field of linear objects.
