Yudaev The article provides a functional diagram of the system of optical quality control of fruits and vegetables. The system provides for the detection of apples or tubers of potatoes transported on a roller conveyor, as well as the determination of the coordinates of defective objects of control and their illumination with a laser pointer. To detect objects of control, use their images obtained in the visible range of the optical emission spectrum and Viola-Jones search algorithms. The developed software uses a trained cascade classifier, the optimal settings of which are determined. To detect surface defects of objects, their spectrograms are used, obtained in the range 400…1000 nm. Keywords: control; algorithm; technical vision; sorting; defects.
