Statistical recognition method for radar signals modulation |

Recognition method for frequency modulation must be invariant since it provides stable detection of radar regime. This invariance provided by means of time processes transformation into primary statistical distributions using ergodic approach. For these distributions dimensionless factors are formed - variation, asymmetry, excess, those provide scale invariance for frequency deviation. The same ergodic approach is used for secondary distributions formation applied for recognition realization. Toward this end performed conformity testing of these distributions using χ2 criterion. In this situation general decision presented as а conjunction of partial ones, which allows minimizing the probability of type I error. Demonstrated etalons nonconformity can be interpreted as method selectivity. Methods stability was confirmed on comparison results for narrow-band signals: etalon, parametrical changed and noised ones.
