Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Intelligent Decision Support System for the Operator of the Metallization Installation at the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant S.Yu. Ansimov At present, operator control of complex production facilities is not limited to simple monitoring of the technological process and timely adequate answer to various kinds of emergency situations. Often the operator has to take a direct part in the control of the object to achieve the best performance, forming tasks for local regulators. In an environment of high workload of the operator due to his fatigue and distraction, the probability of making erroneous decisions increases, especially if the operator does not have sufficient experience. This article discusses the prospects for solving these problems by developing a decision support system based on intelligent technologies and integrating it into the existing control system of the metallization unit.
