Designing the Mean of Instrumentation of the Executive Code of Controllers in the Interests of Ensuring the Information Security of Industrial ACS |

The paper briefly presents a list of measures that, in accordance with the current regulatory documents of the Russian Federation, must be carried out when analyzing the software for ACS components, with particular attention being paid to the procedure for the dynamic analysis of controller firmware. The analysis of modern approaches and tools used in this procedure is carried out, their advantages and disadvantages are described. Based on the analysis carried out in the work, a need was identified for the development of a new tool that can be applied in the dynamic analysis of the embedded software of ACS components. The basic requirements for such a tool are put forward. The article proposes the architecture of a tool that can satisfy the advanced requirements, as well as the principles of its functioning are described in detail. In the conclusion of the work, an analysis is made of the work of the proposed tool and proposals are made for its use in the analysis of the security of automated control systems.
