Industrial Automatic Control Systems and Controllers Annotation << Back Automated Current Control System of the Third Series in Aluminum Production A.M. Prokopev, V.S. Andreev, V.I. Nikiforov, A.N. Filippov, A.A. Ele The article describes a newly created 3-series current control system, which has a three-level hierarchical structure, implemented on the basis of the FESTO complex. The developed technological, system and application software of the entire system is described, as well as the equipment of the new complex. The complexity of the project implementation is shown, which consists in the fact that the installation of the new complex had to be carried out in the conditions of the existing production with sequential switching of the working elements to the elements of the new system. The shutdown time of each unit included in the series during installation and commissioning should have been minimal.
