Kulchitsky The article deals with the problem of image processing of glass defects and glass products for solving problems of increasing the reliability and reliability of assessing their quality. The examination was carried out on the example of a defect – a scratch. Image-ProPlus 6.0 software was used to obtain pixel brightness values. The obtained results of the study determine the method of processing images of sheet glass defects using the example of a scratch to increase the reliability of the glass control procedure when assessing their quality.
