Model of Autoscaling of Images of Ships in Water Transport Streams |

The actual problem of navigation is considered – automatic recognition of a vessel in a moving stream. In this paper, the problem under consideration is investigated using the autocorrelation function and the automatic scaling algorithm. Discrete transformations of the Walsh class (in matrix form) are applied. The consideration is based on the hypotheses that the visualization of the vessel is the result of the application of a stochastic function of a random process with the density of signals in terms of brightness (clarity) at a fixed moment when the signals are received and processed in a real-discrete mode. The proposed procedures (models, algorithms) allow automatic processing (filtering and scaling in black-and-white gradation), identification with advanced capabilities using the Walsh matrix in bit form, as well as the construction of the image spectrum.
